Select your text, and then press Ctrl+D on Windows or Cmd+d on Mac to open that window up. Here, you can select not only the regular Strikethrough option but a Double Strikethrough option if you want to go that way, instead. Make your selection, and then click the OK button.
To set up the Bleed: Microsoft word does not have the ability to create a proper bleed, so you will have to set up a custom page size. Click the Page Layout tab. In the Width: and Height: boxes, type in your document size in inches, including bleed. The page size including bleed is the size you want, plus .
Click and drag your cursor through the text that you want to modify, which highlights it. Highlighting the text means that any formatting or editing tools you use are going to affect that section alone. While highlighted, click the Font color button, then the Strikethrough button. This text is now redlined.
In the toolbar at the top of the screen, click the Review tab. This tab contains tools to help with spell checking and editing, including the Track Changes feature. Click the Track Changes button to enable Track Changes. This feature places a red line in the margins next to any edited text.
Try it! Select Review Display for Review. Select the option you want: Simple Markup points out where changes are made with a red line in the margin. All Markup shows all edits with different colors of text and lines. In the Show Markup list, select the types of revisions youd like to see: Comments.
Is there a Word strikethrough shortcut? Select the text you want to strike through. Press Ctrl+D. A font dialog box will appear. Press Alt+K. The strikethrough feature should now be selected. Press OK. The text will now have a line through it.
