hello and welcome to this excel tips video I am so mad pencil and in this video Im going to show you how to insert a row after every row in your data set in Excel so here I have this data set and what I want to do is insert a row after row number two and then insert a row after this record and insert a row after this record now to do this Im going to first insert a column to the left of this data set so I would select this column right click and go to insert this inserts this column here and let me give this a name let me call this serial number and you can name this anything you want now here I would type 1 and in the next cell I would type 2 and then I would select both of these cells and double click on this small green square when I do this it is going to fill all these you can also hold the left mouse key and drag this and it will have the same thing and it fills all these cells with incrementing numbers incrementing by 1 now just cross check that this is correct go to the last
