The Lenovo B51-30 laptop keyboard has different sets of characters. To input the lower characters, use the Alt key along with the corresponding key. To type the middle characters, simply press the key. For the top characters, use the Shift key along with the respective key. The Alt key is used for lower characters, pressing the key directly inputs middle characters, and using Shift with the key inputs top characters.
