In most instances, you do not need any specialized equipment, printers or supplies -- other than durable-grade labels, like these from Avery -- to print QR code labels. However, we know some customers have circumstances that require alternative printing methods.
To make a QR code for an image, you can use a QR code generator tool that supports image URLs. Simply upload the image to an image hosting service or website, obtain the direct URL link to the image file, and then use this link to generate a QR code.
Click and drag the cursor to outline the QR code. If you want to copy the image file from your desktop, Ctrl + click the file, then select Copy. You can now paste the copied QR code anywhere, such as into an email or document.
As long as the code is readable and is printed on flat, non-textured, matte-finished paper. For smaller QR codes, you can use smooth-coated papers with good ink holdout. You can use an uncoated porous sheet for larger QR codes for code preservation.
Image Overlays Thanks to error correction, information in QR Codes can be recovered even if part of the code is covered or unreadable. This feature allows you to use image overlays to customize the appearance of the QR code. Always test if the code reads correctly with the desired overlay.
Yes you can. Please make sure the QR code is clear so our partner can scan it. It also help to have the brightness turned right up on your phone. We cant be held responsible if an unclear picture or screenshot prevents you from redeeming the code.
Tap the three vertical dots ⋮. The three vertical dots will be in the top right corner of the screen when viewing the QR code. Tapping the icon will bring up a menu of options. Alternatively, some apps have a Print icon that looks like a printer for easy access.
