hi and welcome to the channel this is the second in a series of videos on the sdr receiver switch the mfga1708b sdr if you havent seen the first video if you click on the link above thatll take you there and at the end of that video theres a link that brings you straight back here so you wont get lost thanks for watching so in response to the first video i was asked about transmission loss through the mfjs switch so i did some tests and heres the results so heres a table of measurements are made using a yes of ft 991 here uh 50 watts transmitted into a dummy load uh you can see the bands down the left the first column shows the uh yesu on its own into the dummy load the middle column shows the mfj in line and the right two columns show the reduction in watts and the same expressed as a decibel so right across hf bands just a couple of watts 0.1 of a db you wont really notice that at the very top of the specification of the mfg 77s you can see six watts down there half a db and
