hey there welcome to my studio here in New York City Im Daniel Norton and today were going to photograph some product in this case a bottle of wine so Im going to set up a pretty basic shot here you can do this a lot of different ways theres lots of techniques to photograph bottles so maybe well do more of these as we go but this will get you started so I already have everything in place because a lot of this has to do with tweaking and just moving things around so Im just going to walk through where I what I have Ill show you what the different lights are doing and why theyre there and well go from there so number one you can already see more or less a finished shot here I have my camera here on the tripod facing the wine Im more or less level with it because I want the bottle to be straight Im using a a 24 to 120 lens but Im already zoomed out to almost 120. I want that distance so that the again the compression is there we dont want the bottle to seem warped or whatever
