hey guys welcome back again Iamp;#39;m MJ today I will show you how to insert different page number format in same Word document yeah we can insert like a roman bit number English Arabic page number in same Word document so there are tons of article and video are available on this topic but I feel little difficulty to understand this so that why Iamp;#39;m making the video to make it you know to insert the page number so I will show the easiest way and simple I will not confuse you so letamp;#39;s start so here I have a word document and more documents contain it about yeah it is okay here is the eight ways so here the eight videos as you can see here and first three PS I want to insert a Roman page number okay so as usual click on insert and then click on page number okay and Iamp;#39;m going to take the bottom yeah itamp;#39;s okay click on bottom page number and select this format done okay so here you can see eight number is inserted but I want Roman so again go to page number

Insert page numbers Select Insert Page Number. Select where you want the page number to appear. Select the style you like and Word automatically numbers each page for you.
Go to Insert Page Numbers. Select a position (left, center, or right, and header or footer). Select Include Page Count to show total number of pages too, such as page 7 of 9.
On the Insert tab, click the Page Number icon, and then click Page Number. 2. Select a location, and then pick an alignment style. Word automatically numbers every page, except designated title pages.
Insert Page X of Y Go to Insert Page Number. Do one of the following: Select Current Position if you have a header or footer. Scroll until you see Page X of Y and select a format. Select Close Header and Footer, or double-click anywhere outside the header or footer area.

If you want numbering to start with 1 on the second page, go to Page Number Format Page Numbers, and set Start at to 0. When youre done, select Close Header and Footer or press Esc.
To start page number with page 1, do the following: With the header open, select page 3 on page 3. Click Page Number in the Header Footer group. Select Format Page Numbers. In the Page Numbering section of the resulting dialog, select the Start At option and enter 1, as shown in Figure G. Click OK.
Click Insert Page Numbers. Youll see a gallery of page number layout options. Check the Include Page Count box just above the gallery. Click the page number layout option you want.
