as you may already know you can add outlines to objects in illustrator by applying a stroke but what if you want to apply an outline to an object thatamp;#39;s already a stroke like the object you see here on my screen for that we would have to add a second stroke so to do that letamp;#39;s open up the appearance menu by going to window and selecting appearance and in this menu you will see all of the properties of the object you currently have selected this object here has no fill and it has a black stroke of 31 points if I want to add a second stroke to this object all I have to do is click on this box down here that says add new stroke and as you can see here we now have two strokes stacked on top of each other so Iamp;#39;m going to click on the one beneath it and Iamp;#39;m going to give this one a different color so we can see it and Iamp;#39;m going to make the size larger so itamp;#39;ll protrude from the original stroke and as you can see here another stroke is being add
