All email templates contain a default subject, message text, and placeholders. You can hide the View invoice button and summary information (amount due, due date, invoice number) in your invoice emails. To display your logo on emails sent from Xero, upload this to your invoice template.
Use address padding to alter the position of the address for window envelopes (in relation to the left margin). Use numbers from 1-5 cm (or 0-2 inches) up to two decimal places. Address padding is measured within the margins of the page, not from the edge of the page.
To do this: Click on the organisation name, select Settings, then click Invoice settings. Next to the invoice template you want to update, click Options, then select Edit. Under Payment Services (Credit Card, PayPal or Direct Debit), choose the new service for the invoice template. Click Save.
If you decide to include your bank details on your invoices, its important that you include enough information for your customers to set up their payments. At a minimum, you should include your sort code and account number, but its usually a good idea to include the account holders name as well.
Edit an invoice template Click the organisation name, then select Settings. Click Invoice settings. Find the template you want to edit, click Options, then select Edit. Make your changes. Click Save.
In the Business menu, select Settings. Under Features, click Custom Fields. Click New Custom Field. Under Custom Field Types, click Select next to the type of data field you want to create. Under Field Information, give the field a name, and fill in any other required details.
Use placeholders in your email templates to dynamically add content that references existing information, such as your customers name or ticket subject.
Change your organisations address details Click the organisation name, select Settings, then click Invoice settings. Next to the invoice template you want to update, click Options, then select Edit. Change the contact details. Click Save.
