The basic elements every interview scheduling email should include: The job title or position the candidate will be interviewing for. The name of your company. Names and titles of people the candidate will be meeting with. The topics of discussion. When you will be meeting and how long the meeting will last.
There isnt a set rule for how many interviews it takes to get a job. However, for hiring managers, using between one and three interviews per candidate may be the most successful. The number of interviews can depend on the open position. For entry-level positions, one interview may give enough information to decide.
People are busy and things may unexpectedly come up, so its not unusual that an interview may at some point need to be rescheduled. Yet, when it happens multiple times, its an indication that something is amiss. If things get rescheduled lets say twice, and they want to reschedule a third time, thats it.
Arrange multiple interviews with the same candidate as one calendar event. Instead of scheduling every part of the interview as a new calendar event, split the same interview into different parts. Assign different attendees to each part and they will receive an invite only for the parts that include them.
Tell them your preferred timeslot for the interview. If there are more than one, state them in order of your preference. If none of the timeslots work for you, state clearly what is a good timing, and ask them if it is convenient for them at that slot.
