To Modify a CCW License: If you are a current CCW license holder in good standing, you may modify your CCW license online. A current CCW license holder must modify their existing license for any of the following reasons: Add, drop or change a weapon. Change of Address.
You will be required to complete a 16 hour California Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) Course approved by the Commission on Peace Officer Standards and Training. You will be required to contact The Counseling Team for your Psychological Exam.
Licensees are required to notify the Department of Justice Firearms Unit in writing within 30 days of legally changing their name. To do this you must submit a completed and signed copy of the name change form. There is a $22 fee associated with name changes.
Your Florida concealed weapon or firearm license is valid for a period of seven years. Approximately 95 days prior to the expiration date of your license, the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services (FDACS) will send you a renewal form with complete instructions on how to renew your license.
How do I notify FDACS about my name change? You can have a revised license printed for a fee of $15, payable by check or money order to the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. If you prefer, you may keep your current license until it is time to renew.
Personal identifying information of an individual who has applied for or received a license to carry a concealed firearm held by the Department is confidential and exempt from state public records provisions and access to public records and meetings provisions.
Starting July 1, 2023, new legislation takes effect in the state of Florida which authorizes a person to carry a concealed weapon or firearm pursuant to a valid concealed weapons license or without a concealed weapons license provided that the criteria for obtaining a license is met.
You can renew your license in one of four ways: Online. You must have your renewal application available and have the ability to submit a color photograph. At a regional office.
