in this video Im going to show you how to add a current date line to a line graph and that line will always be at the current date so we start with our data table here we have in this case were talking about a project so we have budgeted spending and actual spending so weve got two lines here though we want to do is we want to add a line that represents our current date so Ive added another data series here current and I have two values and those values are after the set of dates and the budget and actual and because what were doing here really is were creating an extra line thats a vertical line so the first value is going to be the minimum value of all of the budget and actual thats because I want the line to start at the bottom of the graph and then go up to so the top value is the maximum so its going to go from the bottom to the top that makes sure that we show exactly where we are on the date regardless of what the value is we know that it will it will cover that and the
