hi my name is Jason hue ball Im the broker for Central Metro Realty and I get a lot of questions about this back up addendum for our contracts and I thought Id make a short video today to explain kind of how it works and Im gonna go over basically the win you would want to use a backup addendum and how it works here and so the the win can be on a multiple offer situation thats probably the most common such scenario that I see this being used if for whatever reason if you lost out on a contract and you wanted to just be next in line this backup is a great way to do that you know the youre gonna throw fully negotiate the contract just as you would if you were the the winning bid but youre gonna use this backup to ensure that well if that winning here they call it the first contract if the first contract falls out then you are next in line and again so the only thing that youre really going to negotiate differently here would be an option period the option period could be whatever
