So, today I thought it would be nice to show you how to make a quote picture using the Over app. So, if you are like me and you love going on Pinterest and look at those quotes but you love what they say but you dont love how they look and you want to make your own quote. Upload an image into the Documents tab Go to the Documents tab, or the + icon to view all tabs and choose Documents from there. Click New. Fill-up the required fields and make sure to select the Externally Available Image checkbox. Select which folder youd like to save the image to.
Provide a document name. Upload your image. On the document detail page, select Externally Available Image. This field indicates that the image is available for HTML email templates, such as a logo in a letterhead.
Upload an Image to your Quote Navigate to a Quote. Locate your Rich Text Field and double click on the field. - A rich text editor will appear. Select the Insert Image icon. Insert an image via file upload or web address. Enter text if needed and format it using the editor. Click Save.
In Salesforce Classic Navigate to Setup | Communication Templates | Classic Letterheads. Select your letterhead by clicking on the label. Select Edit Letterhead | Select Logo. Click to select the appropriate image.
Add Image to Salesforce Template: From Setup, search for Templates and click on the Template type you are using. For this example we are using a Classic Email Template. Select the template you want to add the image to and click the Edit HTML Version. Paste the Image URL address into the template.
Attach a file to a Salesforce email template Go to Setup. Click on the name of the email template that you would like to attach a file to. Click the Attach File button. Complete the three steps and click the Done button.
Click on the name of the Email Template you want to edit. Click on Edit HTML Version. Click in the body of the email and place your cursor where you want to image to appear. Click on the Insert an Image button in the Formatting Controls bar.
Switch to Salesforce Classic and navigate to the Documents tab. Click New, set the field values, and select the file to upload. On the detail page, check the Externally Available Image field, which indicates that the logo is available for HTML email templates (for letterheads). Click Save.
