Hello and welcome to the Google Sheets tips video. Im Sumit Bansal. And in this video, I will show you how to insert an image within a cell in Google sheets. Now, there are two ways to insert an image in Google sheets. The first way is to simply go to the Insert tab here and go to image. And here, itll give you this dialog box where you can either upload an image, you can take a snapshot from the webcam, or you can specify the URL. So here I have the URL of a Amazons logos image, and I would put this URL here. And when I do this, itll use this logo and insert this logo on the worksheet. So it will take a couple of seconds. And here I have this image, but the problem with this way of inserting images is that this image floats over the worksheet as a separate objectif I try and squeeze it within a cell. So if I resize it and I bring it here , and let me resize this cell as well, and I place this image within the cell, it would still consider itself as an independent object,. Which m

You can insert any image into any cell in Google Sheets in just a few steps. To insert an image into a Google Sheets cell: Open your sheet and select an empty cell. Click Insert in the menu, then hover over the Image sub-menu.
You can follow the steps below to copy and paste images from google into your document. Find images that you want in google. Right click image and choose copy/copy image. Open your document and right click the place where you want to add the image. Select Paste Options in menu and click it.
There are only two options for image placement in Google Sheets; to place the image in the cell or over the cell. You cannot put an image behind a cell in Google Sheets.
PC: Ctrl + c for Copy, Ctrl + x for Cut, and Ctrl + v for Paste. Mac: ⌘ + c for Copy, ⌘ + x for Cut, and ⌘ + v for Paste.

Insert an image from a computer In your Excel spreadsheet, click where you want to put a picture. Switch to the Insert tab > Illustrations group, and click Pictures. In the Insert Picture dialog that opens, browse to the picture of interest, select it, and click Insert.
Insert Multiple Pictures In the Insert Picture window, hold CTRL on your keyboard and click on the pictures you want to insert. Then click Insert.
There are only two options for image placement in Google Sheets; to place the image in the cell or over the cell. You cannot put an image behind a cell in Google Sheets.
You cannot move an image from one spreadsheet to another. Just like the drag an image and drop from a folder on your PC, both functions have been ended by Google. If a big gray area appears on the left in your spreadsheet the only thing to do is create another page.
