so I wanted to show this really useful add-on called highlights tool itamp;#39;s part of Google Docs and it helps you assess strand by strand so Iamp;#39;m going to go into add-ons at the top of Google Docs and you can see I already have it if you donamp;#39;t have it you can search for get add-ons its highlight tool not a highlighter tool link and a start when it loads youamp;#39;ll see that Iamp;#39;ve already created some highlighters Iamp;#39;ve created ones for each strand all of a of shades red all of beer shades of green blues the stay and purples 4d you donamp;#39;t have to use this for assessment you could have students create just two highlighters one for opinion and one for fact and they can highlight an article or you could have them do verbs nouns etc and go through a document thereamp;#39;s lots of uses for me and this is the most important and useful one so Iamp;#39;m going to go for my document every time we see evidence of a strand I can go through it I can ti

Hold down the Ctrl key and the Shift key. Press the right arrow key to select the word to the right, or press the left arrow key to select the word to the left. Select one character at a time by holding down the Shift key and and using either arrow key (right or left).
How to Highlight Text with Background Color with CSS? Apart from mark tags, we can use the background-color property of CSS within the span tags to highlight the text. It sets the background of the text to be of a particular color and thus we can attract users attention to a particular section or text of the webpage.
You may also use the keyboard shortcut Shift + End . To highlight all text (the entire page), press the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + A .
Select the desired words using your mouse or keyboard by holding down shift and dragging/moving your cursor across the text you wish to highlight. Next, search the toolbar for a little pencil icon, next to the icons for bold and italic. When you hover over the pencil icon it should say Highlight color.
You can follow the below given shortcut to highlight the text: Ctrl+shift+key arrows to select the text.
