To create a custom field In Project Web App, click Settings PWA Settings. Under Enterprise Data, click Enterprise Custom Fields and Lookup Tables. Under Enterprise Custom Fields, click New Field. For Name, type Project Cost.
How to add a custom field. You can add custom fields from Jira Software into your plan so you can view and edit them in your scope table. Go to your plan click located next to the plan name Configure Custom fields. Select Add a custom field and select the field you want to add from the list and click Add field.
Open a project file in Project desktop, right-click the field name, and choose Custom Fields. Select Task if you want the field to be available in task views, or select Resource if you want the field to be available in resource views. Select the type of field you are customizing from the Type list.

Left-click on the column header to add the new field at the right edge of your project plan: If you prefer to add your custom field to the middle of your project plan instead of on the right edge, right-click on any of your existing column headings and choose the Insert Column option.
You need to be a Jira administrator to create a new custom field.Add a new custom field for approvals Go to Settings ( ) Issues. Select Custom fields Create custom field. Select Advanced. Select Next. Name your field, and add a description if desired. Select Create.
