On the PWA Server Settings page, click Enterprise Custom fields and Lookup Tables. In the Enterprise Custom Fields section, click the field that you want to edit, or click New Field to create a new field. Fill out the Custom Field page by specifying the custom field options that you want to use.
Add Custom Fields Click the gear icon. and select Setup. This launches Setup in a new tab. Click the Object Manager tab. From the list of objects in the dropdown, click Suggestion. Click the Fields Relationships section. Click New.
Open a project file in Project desktop, right-click the field name, and choose Custom Fields. Select Task if you want the field to be available in task views, or select Resource if you want the field to be available in resource views. Select the type of field you are customizing from the Type list.
With the project open, on the Tasks tab, make sure Grid is selected. In the grid, just past the last column, select Add column New field. Enter a Type and a Field name, then select Create.
Click once in the row for the project you want to change, to select it. On the Projects tab, in the Project Type group, click Change. Read the notes about changing the template, and then, if you are okay with the changes that will be made, select the new template from the New Project Type list, and click OK.
To create a custom field In Project Web App, click Settings PWA Settings. Under Enterprise Data, click Enterprise Custom Fields and Lookup Tables. Under Enterprise Custom Fields, click New Field.
On the Server Settings page, in the Workflow and Project Detail Pages section, click Enterprise Project Types. Click New Enterprise Project Type. In the Name box, enter a name for the type, and then provide a brief description in the Description box.
Create a resource pool Open Project, click Blank Project Resource tab. Click the arrow next to Team Planner and click Resource Sheet. Click Add Resources and import existing resource information.
You can add fields to Task Planner, and determine whether they are mandatory or not. Additional fields are associated with a specific type of task file (for example, the change task file), and can be configured at both the file and task category level.
To create a custom field In Project Web App, click Settings PWA Settings. Under Enterprise Data, click Enterprise Custom Fields and Lookup Tables. Under Enterprise Custom Fields, click New Field. For Name, type Project Cost.
