We want to add a field for facebook profile when a user registers to the site. To do this Ill and activate the cimy user extra fields plugin. Then Ill go to settings--cimy user extra fields to configure it. Ill scroll down to the bottom of the page to add a new field here I need to give it a name, type textarea, label it as Facebook. And the description will tell the user what it is. It can be empty, and I want it to show on registration page, on the user profile page and put it in the extended section. then ill click add field. now when a user comes to my site to register theyll see a new field added. to manage these new fields, you can go to users--users extended to make any needed changes. Resolution The new fields under User Info have the same behavior as the 15 custom fields under Standard. Employee Profile View Template sysUserDirectorySetting, click on Details Find Userinfo Element, and add the new field. Go to Manage Prople Profile. Go to Manage Permission Roles.
Go to Manage Organization, Pay and Job Structures; Select Foundation Object and check new custom field.
