hello everyone this is ms gutsel speaking in this video we are going to examine insert feature number nine header and page number for the google docs series with that being said letamp;#39;s begin when i click on insert and hover over header and page number the following options appear i can choose to insert a header or a footer i can also choose to insert a page number within my google doc i have a few options when inserting a page number i can have the page number inserted within my header or i can have it inserted in my header on the second page in the google doc this situation would be useful when i needed a title page i could also insert the page number in my footer where it would be a page number on each page of the google doc alternatively i could insert a page number after a title page within my footer as well as such i recommend when considering adding in a header or footer into a google doc starting with the page number section that way once the page numbers are inserted any

Click Insert Open Google Docs and select the document you wish to edit, or create a new document. The first step in inserting a text box is to locate the Insert tab in the toolbar near the top of the page. Selecting Insert causes a drop-down menu to appear, with options such as Image, Table, and Drawing.
Using the new insert tool is very simple. As you write, type the @ symbol and the popup menu will appear (Figure A). The new Google Docs insert popup menu.
Insert special characters On your computer, open Google Docs or Slides. Open or create a document or presentation. At the top, click Insert. Find the character you want to insert: To add a character to your file, click it.
It is very easy to create fillable forms in Google Docs (in basic format), open a Google Doc, and add tables from Insert Table. In that table, you can add different fields along with creating columns or rows for the responses section.
At the top of the page, click Insert. To place text directly on the canvas as a shape, click Word Art. To place text inside a box or confined area, click Text Box and click where you want to put it.
Heres how to add a text box in just a few steps: Select Insert in the top left menu. Choose Drawing Choose the first option, + New Once youre in the separate Draw workspace, hit Text box, drag to your desired size and type. Hit Save and Close and watch as the text box appears in the document.
You can use the @ menu to link to people, files, and events, and add items to a Google Doc.
