If you plan to enter or leave the EU with 10 000 in cash (or its equivalent in other currencies) or carry one or more of the commodities listed below (to the value of 10 000) you must declare it to the customs authorities in the EU coutnry you are entering or leaving, using the EU cash declaration form.
All EU Member States, except Denmark, are required to adopt the euro and join the euro area.
The directive includes a limit on cash. More payments exceeding 10,000. Member states will have the flexibility to impose a lower maximum limit if they wish.
Its legal to travel with more than $10,000 in the United States and abroad. You have the right to travel with as much money as you want. However, during international travel, you need to report currency and monetary instruments in excess of $10,000.
If you enter or leave the EU with EUR 10 000 or more in cash, you must declare it to Customs. The forms to be used in the Member State are available in all EU languages. They are annexed to the Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2021/776.
Members of a family residing in one household that submit a joint or family declaration are prohibited from causing others in the group to carry currency or monetary instruments in the group on their behalf, so that no member carries more than $10,000.
If you are entering or leaving the EU and carrying cash worth 10 000 or more, you must declare it. Cash can be banknotes and/or coins. Declare your cash with customs in the country where you are entering or leaving the EU.
Employment rights All EU nationals working in another EU country have the right to live there. You do not need a residence permit. You have the same working conditions as citizens of the country you are working in, including pay, dismissal, hours of work, discrimination, maternity leave and health and safety at work.
