if you have a project where you have a lot of stitches for example this is my mystery cowl blanket from the cascade blanket of many stitches cowl that we have going on right now i feel really good about where i am in this blanket and i have a nice simple stitch here i just did a little garter stitch row so this is a good point in the project to insert a lifeline or safety line so what you want to make sure you have is a darning needle and some scrap yarn i happen to have some sock weight scrap yarn there you definitely want to use a yarn of a lighter weight than what you are working with before you go ahead and simply insert your darning needle through each stitch just a few at a time careful that your stitches donamp;#39;t slide off your needle and make sure youamp;#39;re consistently putting them just through that front loop you donamp;#39;t twist your stitches and now if you come to a marker and i have a marker every 24 stitches for this blanket make sure you go outside the marke

An epigraph is a short quote included at the beginning of a piece of writing. It is meant to introduce the reader to a theme, reference, or context.
Epigraphs are typically formatted as follows: Placed within quotation marks. Indented from the left. Followed by an em-dash and the author of the quotes name on another line.
A short quotation at the beginning of a chapter or article is called an epigraph. The quote is treated like an extract and indented from the left margin. Only the authors name (and only the authors last name if he or she is well-known) and the books title should be given in italics.
ing to the MLA and APA writing styles, epigraphs less than four lines (40 words) in length can be enclosed in quotation marks. If the epigraph exceeds four lines, you should put it in a block quotation. The block should be indented 0.5 inches from the left margin.
This could include things like: A list of their relationships with some of their loved ones (e.g. mother, daughter, friend) A few words about their life. A verse or phrase from a particular text, especially one that was important to them. A message from their loved ones to the person reading the headstone.
If the rest of the document is formatted ing to the APA Style rules, the epigraph must follow those rules as well: The epigraph should appear before the first line of text and should be indented 0.5 in. from the left margin, like a block quotation, without quotation marks (APA, 2020, p. 277).
An epigraphs source is not listed in the References section. Exceptions to this are an epigraph from a scholarly book or journal and a quotation used by permission. In these cases, cite the author, year, and page number at the end of the epigraph, in parentheses with no periodjust as you would for a block quote.
