Select the cell in the worksheet where you want the drop-down list. Go to the Data tab on the Ribbon, then click Data Validation . On the Settings tab, in the Allow box, click List . If its OK for people to leave the cell empty, check the Ignore blank box.
The drop-down list feature is available under the hidden Developer tab in Microsoft Word. You can go to Word options in Windows and macOS to enable this menu by customizing the Ribbon. In Windows, you can enable the Developer tab in Microsoft Word by going to File Options.
