hello and welcome to the video by productivity spot I am some advanced Allen in this video I will show you how to quickly create drop-down lists in Google sheets here I have a list of country names and I want a list of these names to appear here in cell b1 so that when I click on the cell or on the drop-down then this list should appear so to do that I have b1 selected I would go to data and here I would go to validation and it opens the data validation dialog box now data validation means that you can restrict what could be entered in the cell so here I can restrict that only these items can be entered in the cell that is what data validation means and as a part of data validation you also get drop-down list as one of the features so in this case the cell range is selected as b1 because here is where I want the drop-down then the criteria here is lists from a range if you click on this you can see there are many other options list of items where you can manually enter it or numbers wh
