hey everyone ali here again so we had a an employment contract recently from an associate who uh had signed it on his own without having any legal help and the contract had uh um a term of three years but no termination language in other words the contract was for a 36 month period but there was no way out for the associate or the employer for that matter so its really important to remember if youre going to negotiate an employment agreement and youre going to do it yourself which i dont recommend of course but if you are going to do it make sure theres at least a way for you to get out of the contract if things dont work out the way youre hoping for 30 45 60 days um you know try not to do anything more than 60 days but you know anything in that range i think is good um again uh you know things dont work out sometimes it might be a one-year contract it might be a two-year three-year contract just things sometimes dont work out or your life changes and you find a practice to bu
