Im going to show you a really quick shortcut for adding the current date to any cell in Excel and this is useful if you have something like a checkout form where youre having to add a date stamp repeatedly so all you do is press ctrl semicolon and it will enter todays date then you can press ENTER to go to the next line so this makes it really easy to add a lot of date stamps in a row without having to type it every time now similarly if you want to add the current time you can press control-shift semicolon so Im holding down ctrl and shift and then pressing the semicolon and thats it control semicolon and control shift semicolon will save you a lot of time Goodwill Community Foundation creating opportunities for a better life
