Add or view comments To view comments in Edit View, click Review Show Comments. To add a new comment, click Review New Comment. If you have the Word desktop application, use the Open in Word command to open the document and turn on track changes.
Select words in the document, and then tap New Comment.Assign tasks using @mentions Add a new comment or reply to an existing comment. Use an @mention in the comment. The option appears to assign the comment as a task to the person mentioned. Select the Assign to checkbox. Post the comment or reply.
Viewing Comments From a Specific Reviewer Make sure that you are viewing comments. Display the Review tab of the ribbon. In the Tracking group, click the Show Markup drop-down list. Hide or display comments from individual reviewers by selecting their names from the list.
Insert or delete a comment Select the content you want to comment on. Go to Review New Comment. Type your comment. If you want to make changes to any of your comments, just go back and edit them. To reply to a comment, go to the comment, and select Reply.

Highlight some text, or place the insertion point where you want the comment to appear. From the Review tab, click the New Comment command. Type your comment.
Inserting custom document property fields Click the Insert tab in the Ribbon and then click Quick Parts in the Text group. Select Field. In the list of Field names on the left, select DocProperty. Under Field properties, select a property name. To view the codes for a field in the Field box, click Field Codes.
Insert a comment Select the text you want to comment on, or click at the end of the text. On the Review tab, click New Comment. Type your comment. Word shows your comment in a balloon in the documents margin.
