this video is going to cover creating notifications so whenever a user comments on a post uh say for example this post has a couple comments you will then receive a notification if you are the creator of the post so if i come down to post number nine you can see that john doe posted on it or commented on it and if i click on the comment notification i have the new comments up here and i have the old comments down here im limiting these to i think nine of each but if i click on one of these lets say i click on the title six comment it takes me to this post and as soon as we docHub this post youll see that the comment counter changes because it now considers every comment on this post as seen or it says theyre red so now all of my notifications are gone and ive cleared it so you can see here it persists as a zero were gonna be doing this using uh chris oliver from go rails uh he made a notice gem so were gonna be using the notice gem for this now im gonna come over to the current
