A tenant represents an organization. Its a dedicated instance of Azure AD that an organization or app developer receives at the beginning of a relationship with Microsoft. That relationship could start with signing up for Azure, Microsoft Intune, or Microsoft 365, for example.

On a tenants Overview page, select Manage tenants. Select the checkbox for the tenant that you want to delete, and then select Delete. If your organization doesnt pass one or more checks, youll get a link to more information on how to pass. After you pass all checks, select Delete to complete the process.
