Take these steps to insert character in FDX

hi Im going to show you how to insert non-speaking characters in final draft so jobsite one mule a beefy to the construction worker is accompanied by two other construction workers now those are going to be non speaking extras and I want them to show up in the cast list so I can cast them right so two other construction workers is our non speaking characters Im gonna highlight them then Im gonna go up to insert our key is insert thats the tab youre looking for then were gonna find non speaking characters so we are going to click non-speaking characters and what is highlighted will pop up and I really just want to say two other two construction workers I dont need the word other were gonna keep it short right then I click OK after I click OK I can go to my tools in my reports and then I can find character report now under my character report is my two construction workers and I have successfully under the insert tab inserted my non-speaking characters into my character report a

It is a list of all the characters that will appear in the following scene. Cast lists are a script element and have to be added manually at the beginning of a scene. To do that, place the cursor at the beginning of an empty line and hit ENTER. Then choose Cast List from the menu that appears.
Final Draft Go to Document SmartType Characters; Select the character name you want to remove and click Delete; Click OK to close the window.

Adding or removing non-speaking characters to a scene is as easy as going to the Scene Navigator, choosing the scene that the character needs to be added or removed from and hitting the + or icon in the Character In Scenes window towards the bottom of the Navigator.
5 Tips for How to Introduce Characters in A Screenplay Introduce your character before giving them dialogue. Format your character introduction properly. Give an introduction for major characters only. Give a meaningful description of the character. Be brief!
The most common way to do this is with quotation marks. When a character speaks, use double quotation marks. If they quote someone else, use single quotation marks for the quote within their dialogue.
