The ACL Certification Program sets the industry standard for technical proficiency and professional expertise in using ACL Analytics data analysis software.
Step 1: Active Directory Certificate Services Log into your Active Directory Server as an administrator. Open Server Manager Roles Summary Add roles. In the Add Roles Wizard, select Server Roles. On the next page, select Certification Authority role service to issue and manage certificates.
Right-click Certificate Templates, click New, and then click Certificate Template to Issue. Select the certificate template, for example - User Auto Enroll in this case, and click OK. Ensure the certificate template is added to your Certification Authority.
Certificates should be imported into the NTDS\Personal store and not moved through drag-and-drop in the Certificates snap-in. The import process must be conducted on each domain controller.
To view certificates: Log in to the AD domain controller. Use an administrator account. Open the MMC. Look for Certificates (Local Computer) under Console Root. If no certificate is displayed, add it as follows: Expand Certificates (Local Computer). Expand Enterprise Trust. Select Certificates.
Import the certificate into the local computer store In the Open box, type mmc, and then select OK. On the File menu, select Add/Remove snap-in. In the Add/Remove Snap-in dialog box, select Add. In the Add Standalone Snap-in dialog box, select Certificates, and then select Add.
In order to import the certificate you need to access it from the Microsoft Management Console (MMC). Open the MMC (Start Run MMC). Go to File Add / Remove Snap In. Double Click Certificates. Select Computer Account. Select Local Computer Finish. Click OK to exit the Snap-In window.
