[MUSIC PLAYING] KARINA FERREIRA: Student response cards are cards that, usually three, four, or even maybe two, that we use to check for understanding of something that we taught. What I usually do is I have questions that I put on my PowerPoint. And I show the students, and they have to show me the response that they have with a card. And so, the cards are going to represent something. So today, we did adjectives, and I was checking if students knew what is a feminine adjective, what is a masculine adjective, and what is an adjective that actually can be both masculine and feminine. And so, they had different colors. Pink was for girls, and blue was for masculine, and purple was for both. Student response cards give me a good idea of who is getting it and who is not. I always tell them to show me quickly the card so that they do not look around and just give me the answer that the others are giving. And so, I think as a teacher, we get to see where our class is.
