who wanted the copyright to your logo once its finished well as the creator I own the copyright to your logo until I assign that copyright over to you by filling in a form it can be very simple just basically stating that I know a signed copyright of this logo design over to you my client and I sign that if I dont assign copyright over to you then the copyright still belongs to me the originator of that design as soon as a client has paid me for the design I will sign over copyright so that node belongs to the client I do ask though that I still be able to use the design when Im promoting my services because it does help me to bring in more work but in terms of ownership then that has been transferred over to you the client when I have finished the project and you have paid the balance now other designers may do things differently so please check with your local designer what happens at the end upon completion of the project if youve got a question youd like me to answer leave it
