The first step you need to do as a developer to build on the Microsoft Identity platform and add authentication is you need to tell us that youamp;#39;re going to be trusting the Microsoft Identity platform. The way you do that is by creating an application registration. This I like to think of as what does the developer know about the application. The developer knows how youamp;#39;re going to do authentication because of the type of application youamp;#39;re building and therefore you know what settings will need to be made here. Youamp;#39;ll know that type of APIs youamp;#39;re calling and the permissions you need to call those APIs.
