Heres how: Go to the Employees menu. Click the employees name on leave. Select the Actions button and click Employees Leave. Choose and select Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP). The fields that have an asterisk are needed to filled-in and you can edit the rest. Click Save.
Step 2: Enter or change your employee or company percentage Go to Employees, and select Employee Center. Double-click your employee. Select Payroll Info. Select Taxes, then select the Other tab. Select the OR - Paid Fam Med Leave Co. Select OR - Paid Fam Med Leave Emp. Select OK twice.
There are three main types of pay that an employee can receive during their maternity leave: Statutory Maternity Pay, Occupational Maternity Pay and Maternity Allowance.
Statutory Maternity Pay Select Payroll, then select Employees. Select the name of the employee whom you want to pay. Select Statutory Payments, then select Add. From the dropdown ▼, select Statutory Maternity Leave. Select Start date and Baby due date. The Average weekly earnings are displayed.
