hey everyone its sherry roberts again and we are here doing an addendum to contract so this is when you lets say for an example do the inspection and everyones favorite go-to now is the electrical panel needs to be replaced which is no fun and lets say theres fascia board rot somewhere and um we never we try not to ask the seller to make repairs we dont know what kind of repairs youre going to make then you have to have receipts and its a whole thing so what i like to do is ask the seller we usually add up the costs of the repairs and just have the seller credit the buyer towards your closing cost of closing so if a buyers closing costs are 10 000 that means they only have to come to the table with 7 000 which is pretty awesome and it keeps more money in the buyers pockets so what were going to do now is were going to do an addendum to contract and in order to do that we have to add forms and then were going to type in addendum to contract so there it is right there now the

An addendum is an addition to a finished document, such as a contract. The most common addendum is an attachment or exhibit at the end of such a document. For example, a contract to manufacture widgets may have an addendum listing the specifications for said widgets.
Writing a Contract Addendum Name the parties to the contract. Indicate the addendums effective date, using the same date format used in the original contract. Indicate the elements of the original contract that the addendum intends to change. Concisely but clearly describe the desired changes.
How to write an addendum to a contract Consider and mirror the language of the original contract. Choose an addendum title. Make clear the parties involved. Clarify the part of the original contract the addendum refers to. Ensure compliance with the original contract and all other relevant regulations.
Attachments are different from addendums because they can be placed within the contract without changing the agreement itself, and they may also be referred to as annexes or appendices.
An addendum is used to clarify and add things that were not initially part of the original contract or agreement. Think of addendums as additions to the original agreement (for example, adding a deadline where none existed in the original version).
Whats Included in a Contract Addendum? Reference of the Original Contract. Parties Involved. Addendums Effective Date. The Elements in the Original Contract. The Date You Are Adding the Addendum. Concluding Paragraph. Signatures. Notary Block.
What is an Addendum? An addendum is something added to a previously existing written document usually a contract. Typically, it is either a more detailed explanation of something already noted in a contract or a proposed change to the contract.
