welcome guys this is my first YouTube tutorial today Iamp;#39;m teaching you how to do uh 2D text from inkscape into 3D text into blender so right now youamp;#39;re putting in the text scaling it up and then this is a very important step you go over to path and you go to object to path and once you do that this whole process will work every time so save it save it as a DOT SVG file and get into blender and then you go to file import and then go to the SVG import find the file and itamp;#39;ll pop up and when you get in there youamp;#39;ll have the text and right now theyamp;#39;re in a curved format and you need to convert them into a mesh so you can make it 3D so right here Iamp;#39;m showing you when you go into edit mode youamp;#39;re you have the curved mode going on here so go back out and right click go to convert and add and convert it to mesh then youamp;#39;re going to highlight it hit e to extrude up and there you go you have your 3D text
