[Music] hello everybody today I wanted to show you how I inlay the top of this sidewalk Im making this sideboard to match this dining table which is completed you can see the inlay in this dining table its 5/16 wide and Im doing a matching inlay in the top of this sideboard which will actually be just a quarter inch wide its slightly scaled down to suit the overall size of this top so you can see that Ive already completed quite a bit of the process Ive routed out these channels which youre going to take these lines of wingait and when youre done routing with this rusty piece right here it leaves all the corners rounded and these first of all have to be squared off by hand with a chisel Ill quickly show you how I do that so we like to just creep up on it so the bevel the chisel doesnt force the cut beyond the line you want we turn that around [Music] carefully were up that corner so saving this one here [Music] this requires an extremely sharp chisel you should be able to s
