[Music] foreign Im sure youre uh familiar with these types of dual color 3D prints this is a coaster and it uses a simple layer height a color swap in order to achieve a dual color effect on the print however with the bamboo lab AMS and in bamboo slicer you dont actually have to print things like this and you can use the texture of your build plate to your advantage to making nicer finishes for your coasters and things like that so Im going to show you how to do that first Im going to reset this to the original model so it was nice and plane there we go um so you see here there are two distinct layers theres the bottom layer which is just the circle and then there is the layer with the actual pattern so what were going to do here is were going to split the model into parts so itll actually be easier if we change this color to Black and then when we cut it we can just move it until we can barely see that cut plane were going to uncheck cut to Parts but were going to keep both
