To change your line spacing, click on the Format tab, then click Paragraph. Under the Indents Spacing tab, click the dropdown under Line Spacing.
To change the line spacing to double spacing in the entire document, click Format, and then select Paragraph. Click the Line Spacing drop-down menu, choose Double, and then click OK. To change the spacing on a specific piece of text, highlight the text before adjusting the formatting.
In the toolbar, at the upper right, select Line paragraph spacing. Open the Format menu, then select Line paragraph spacing.
Visual Method Click the paragraph you want to indent, or click and drag your mouse to highlight multiple paragraphs. Drag the bottom left triangle on the top ruler bar to indent the left side of the paragraph or selected text. Drag the bottom right triangle on the ruler to indent to the right side of the text.
Select your paragraphs and click the menu Format : Paragraph, then in the tab Indents Spacing, in the section Spacing, set the value for Above paragraph: and Below paragraph: to zero or more.
To change the default file format for LibreOffice Writer, make sure Text document is selected in the Document type drop-down list. Its the first and default option. Select the file format from the Always save as drop-down list that you want to use as the default for saving new files in LibreOffice.
The default line spacing in Word is 1.15. By default, paragraphs are followed by a blank line and headings have a space above them. Go to Home Line and Paragraph Spacing. Select Line Spacing Options, and then choose the options you want under Spacing.
Press F11 to open the Styles and Formatting list (or select ViewStyles). Right-click the style used for your text and select ModifyIndents Spacing. Change the spacing above and below the paragraph to your choice. Explore the other options and change any you dont like.
