now weamp;#39;re ready to generate our pdf so what do we have to do to generate the e we just say file save as pdf and we get a dialog that says whatamp;#39;s the name of our pdf file that we want to save say okay we want to save this and the file exists so now framemaker has to go out and start looking at all of those files and assembling it has to pull each of these data files into frame maker templates and then go through and make a lot of the decisions that are typically go into creating pdfs it has to know all the frame maker styles that are used that we can gather bookmarks so while itamp;#39;s doing that i just want to talk a little bit about stripping the white space now thereamp;#39;s a variety of ways stripping the white space what i did in this case was i created a an xsl template that actually goes through and does what we call an identity transform that is it transforms document a into document b and while itamp;#39;s making those changes it makes a few small checks o
