Set a column to a specific width Select the column or columns that you want to change. Go to Home Cells Format. Under Cell Size, select Column Width. In the Column width box, type the value that you want. Select OK.
Example 1 On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Select the range you want to format. For example, cells A1 to A100. Click Format. Conditional formatting. Under the Format cells if drop-down menu, click Custom formula is. Write the rule for the first row. Choose other formatting properties. Click Done.
You can shrink or enlarge a worksheet for a better fit on printed pages. To do that, in Page Setup, click the window launcher button. Then, click Scaling Adjust to, and then enter the percentage of the normal size that you want to use.

On your computer, open a spreadsheet in Google Sheets. Select a row or column to resize. To highlight multiple rows or columns: Mac: ⌘ + click the rows or columns. Right-click the row number or column letter. Click Resize row or Resize column. Then, choose an option: Enter a custom height or width. Click OK.
Select the row or rows that you want to change. Go to Home Cells Format. Under Cell Size, select Row Height. In the Row height box, type the value that you want, and then select OK.
Select the row indexes whose size you want to adjust. Right-click on the chosen range. Select Resize rows X-Y, which brings up a pop-up. Choose Specify row height and input a specific row size in the pop-up (on a pixel basis). Click the OK button.
We can apply a consistent size to all cells in a sheet by performing the following steps: Select all Columns. Right click and select Resize Columns A-Z. Set the Column Width. Select all Rows. Right click and select Resize Rows 1-1000. Enter your Row Height. Select OK to set Row Height and See Results.
