hello Paul hamler here welcome back to the Paul hamler YouTube channel today were going to do a little video uh showing you some techniques Ive developed over the years on doing wood and Brass inlay over the years uh how many times have we seen a piece of antique furniture or something out of wood that some handyman has uh put a big screw hole in it or a big nail hole and this case here heres heres a screw hole or actually it was a dial uh piece of old white oak that came off of a cabinet Im in the process of restoring but what I going to show you today is a technique on how to patch or inlay over this uh unsightly screw hole or nail hole and uh the premise is is usually if youre repairing a piece of antique furniture so forth theres usually always a section a hidden section behind the leg in the back of a panel somewhere where you can uh carefully saw out and uh borrow you a piece of wood from the existing antique to use as a inlay material and this this case here uh we had a e
