as far as reducing the stress and strain I take the file put it down and just hold it down then this is of course just on a cavity this big and you just file the floor of the cavity all youre doing is really knocking down the Burrs that are there you dont have to get it extremely smooth or anything else just as long as you knock down some of the Burrs and make it fairly flat and even once you do that I take the file on the side and I just go down the side to kind of even it up and take off the rough edges if you had a smaller cavity quite a bit smaller youd probably use a reefer something like this to where you could work into some tight areas and then some real small stuff you could go ahead and use a little reer like this and just work it into the areas that you need once you get the cavity filed to where its satisfactory smooth as it can be uh knock down most of the rough edges and catch your size and all that then its time to go ahead and undercut just before I go ahead and un
