so I says shooting this series called non-binary portrait last summer and the reason why I wanted to do it is because as a non-binary person I felt there wasnamp;#39;t a lot of representation through non-binary identities and non-binary bodies so non-binary means anyone who doesnamp;#39;t fit in the gender binary of strictly like male and female right now itamp;#39;s been said that thereamp;#39;s like a trans moment happening and thereamp;#39;s a lot of trans representation and thatamp;#39;s thatamp;#39;s amazing and thatamp;#39;s great but what there is is still very much fits within the binary transitioning from female to male male to female and so and thatamp;#39;s not necessarily the the story of a lot of trans people I know I think just showing that these identities are valid and exist just that in itself is very powerful because when you donamp;#39;t see yourself represented then you start to doubt yourself basically the way this series went is I approac

In computer applications, where binary numbers are represented by only two symbols or digits, i.e. 0 (zero) and 1(one). The binary numbers here are expressed in the base-2 numeral system. For example, (101)2 is a binary number. Each digit in this system is said to be a bit.
Binary images are images whose pixels have only two possible intensity values. They are normally displayed as black and white. Numerically, the two values are often 0 for black, and either 1 or 255 for white.
Each pixel in an image is made up of binary numbers. If we say that 1 is black (or on) and 0 is white (or off), then a simple black and white picture can be created using binary. To create the picture, a grid can be set out and the squares coloured (1 black and 0 white).
Bitmap images are organised as a grid of coloured squares called pixels. Each different colour in the image is stored as a binary number. When zooming in or enlarging a bitmap image, the pixels are stretched and made into larger blocks. The quality of bitmap images reduces as they are enlarged.
Approach: Read the image from the location. As a colored image has RGB layers in it and is more complex, convert it to its Grayscale form first. Set up a Threshold mark, pixels above the given mark will turn white, and below the mark will turn black.
