[Music] [Applause] [Music] in this video ill show you how to make an image transparent in photoshop and by that i mean you have to make the layer transparent so youll have to put your image on a layer that allows transparency and by default when you open up an image its normally set to the background layer and to the right of the word background you have the little handbag icon here the lock icon you cant make it transparent you can see opacity is grayed out so all you have to do right mouse click on the word background and do duplicate layer and do okay or of course we could have selected everything and do a copy and paste im going to hide the background layer and now opacity is not grayed out its live and i can make it smaller so i can reduce it down and you can see this is fading out i have my grid off so in photoshop preferences because im on a mac or the edit menu and preferences go to transparency and gamut and i set the grid size to none if i set it to medium and you can
