I have this PowerPoint file opened and I have these shapes drawn in my slice now I want to group these shapes so that I can apply a similar formatting to it so let me show you three ways you can group shapes or objects in Microsoft PowerPoint what you can do is to drag over all these shapes to select or you can hold down the shift key to select all the ships then you right click on any of these ships choose group then you can choose this option to group your ships or after selecting these shapes you can go to the menu bar and click on the ship format then under the shape format we have the arrange group select this option which says group then you can group this object you can also use your keyboard shortcut Ctrl G on the keyboard and this is going to group your object in Microsoft PowerPoint you can easily move this around you can apply similar formatting or any alignment option to this group
