hello teachers welcome to a quick video on how to turn on and access the easy accents add-on within Google Docs so in front of me I have my document here that Iamp;#39;ve just started and Iamp;#39;ll just give a quote title fast there you go so Iamp;#39;m in my a document and I want to be able to add in accents and if youamp;#39;re using a computer that doesnamp;#39;t have the side keyboard where you can use the old features it can be difficult to insert accents into a Google Doc so what youamp;#39;re gonna want to do to be able to do this is the first thing you want to do is click on the add-ons button or add-ons menu tab and what you want to do is youamp;#39;re going to scroll down to get add-ons click get add-ons and once you do this um you can either search or click on the easy accents and if you donamp;#39;t see it in this window like I see it right away youamp;#39;re gonna search easy since once youamp;#39;ve done this yes option should come up and Iamp;#39;ll just cli

In the top navigation of Google Docs select Insert. Then select Special Characters. Then search for Check.
Check marks or ticks are used to show something is correct, chosen, complete, or verified. The tick ✔ comes from the letter V in the Latin word veritas, which means truth. Besides the traditional tick ✔, other variations on the check mark include the cross ✘, the slash /, and the check box ☑.

Hold down the Alt key, and use the number keypad to enter the character code thats 0252 for the plain checkmark and 0254 for the boxed checkmark.
Place your cursor at the spot where you want to insert the checkmark. Go to Insert Advanced Symbol Symbols. Choose the checkmark symbol that you want.
