the first stop was my local hardware store called Menards while looking in their metal aisle I found an eight foot long aluminum u-channel that I thought might be perfect for the build so the profiles come in at a little over 20 millimeters wide which is a good size since it would fit two 10 millimeter wide strips side by side if you had a need for that now just like the mazata channels I want to make sure that thereamp;#39;s going to be no hot spots when using strips that have at least 60 LEDs per meter and lately Iamp;#39;ve really enjoyed using BTF lightingamp;#39;s sk6812 pixels since they are individually addressable but they also have a separate LED built in just for whites which is certainly nice to have so here Iamp;#39;ve already soldered my own 18 gauge silicone wires to the beginning of the strip and I wonamp;#39;t go into that process since you can watch my soldering for beginners video that goes over this simple process with close-up footage in case youamp;#39;re int
