i want to change my bathroom from this to this the problem is i want it to not cost a lot be high quality and be easy i mean is that even possible well after trying out many different options and almost failing multiple times i finally found a great solution seriously anyone can do this because thereamp;#39;s no soldering required and the results are amazing let me show you what i did all right so these are my requirements for putting light strips under my cabinets in the bathroom so i thought about using something like hue lifx or casa because i really like those light strips but since i need to have special requirements for this bathroom i decided not to use those and the reason why is that thereamp;#39;s an outlet in the middle and so iamp;#39;m gonna have to go in two different directions and if i was using one of those light strips it would be really expensive to either use two or really complicated to do that with those so iamp;#39;m have to figure out another way to do that

Calculating Placement for General and Task Lighting Measure the length of the area and write down your answer. Divide the length of the area by twice (2x) the number of lights to be placed in that row and write down your answer. This will be the distance from the wall to your first light in that row.
One of the main differences between downlights and recessed lights is the direction of the light. Downlights point straight down and are great for task lighting, while recessed lights can be directed at different angles, making them better for general lighting.
Recessed lights, also known as downlights or can lights, are a type of lighting fixture installed into the ceiling or wall. They are designed to sit flush with the surface for a sleek and polished finish. The housing and electrical wiring components are hidden, and the bulb appears to glow from within the opening.
The common size for residential recessed downlights is 4 to 7 inches in diameter. The most popular size is a 6-inch fixture. For that reason, there are often more 6-inch styles available to choose from. Higher ceilings often require larger diameters, typically 6 inches or above.
Ambient lighting If you use fixtures on (or in!) your ceiling to build your well-lit foundation as we just described, then youre using whats called ambient lighting. This is one of the three major types of indoor lighting, and many fixtures and styles fall under it.
Recessed lights, often referred to as downlights or can lights, are lighting fixtures installed into an opening in the ceiling. They consist of three main components: the housing, the trim, and the bulb (or light source).
A soffit is an architectural feature on the exterior of a home that covers the underside of the roof, eaves, or porch overhang. And soffit lights are a form of recessed lighting installed into the soffit. These lights are also a form of downlighting, meaning that their illumination shines downward toward the ground.
